For the Home Lab, this also makes an unparalleled GPU for hardware video transcodes with capabilities of up to 35 real time HD streams in a low profile card with no power connector and with IOMMU and virtualisation capability on Nvidia drivers, can easily be passed through to a virtual machine. Pascal encoders and decodes support up to h265/HEVC 10 bit video for usable compatibility and no session restrictions.
